Every year, we wait with baited breath to see all of the spectacular looks we've grown to expect from the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute Gala red carpet. From Sarah Jessica Parker's tartan Alexander McQueen dress in 2006 to Kate Moss' Marc Jacobs turban look in 2009, the Met Gala has produced some of the industry's most memorable looks of all time. While it is clearly a chance for the fashion set to show off their sartorial chops, it is also a chance for our favorite designers to step out, arm-in-arm, with the muses that inspired them that evening. In anticipation of next week's gala, "PUNK: Chaos to Couture," click through for the best designer date night duos from Met Galas past. Think of it as prom night for the fashion set. More»

2012 proved to be a pivotal year in music. Lana Del Rey continued to explode on the blogosphere, and Azealia Banks brought seapunk to the mainstream (with help from Rihanna). Additionally, multiple artists from the late 90's created new albums for the first time in over a decade. No Doubt's latest release "Push and Shove" was their first recording in 11 years. It's no surprise that 90's nostalgia provided inspiration for 2012. We've compiled a list of the top 10 albums to sum up our year of partying.
