In one of the hottest, rum-soaked parties of Super Bowl weekend, Rolling Stone celebrated Bacardi's 150th Anniversary with a concert headlined by LMFAO, Lupe Fiasco, Cobra Starship and Gym Class Heroes. "Pregaming" celebs included Alyssa Milano, Akiva Schaffer, Anna Faris, Chace Crawford, Jessica Stroup, Joe Manganiello, Jon Hamm, Lance Bass, Matthew Morrison, Nikki Reed, Paul McDonald, Pete Wentz, and more.
The concert, dubbed "BACARDI Bash: 150 Years Rocking the Party," was the capstone in a series of parties held worldwide by the rum brand, which began in 1862 as a modest Cuban distillery. Puerto Rico Governor Luis G. Fortuno even declared February 4 "Bacardi Day" in celebration of the anniversary.

Thrillist masquerades as a Daily Candy for frat boys but as helpful as the newsletter is for hooking a bro up with new steakhouses and the latest in new liquor brands (Bacardi Torched Cherry sounds like the perfect base for some gnarly jungle juice), that is only a useful side effect of the main goal. The raison d'etre of the juggernaut is to consistently throw parties pool side so founder Ben Lerer can get his beach body on. More»
[Photo by Quentin Bacon] Eat This. If you spend time in the Hamptons this summer and don't at least try some of the locally caught seafood then you are truly committing a culinary sin. Today's recipe is for Blackened Striped Bass with Corn Spoon Bread and Greens. This dish has a slight southern twang to it with the addition of corn bread, but it works nicely with the cooked fish. Striped Bass is native to the Northeast waters surrounding the Hamptons...

Bad news for analysts, great news for us! This large fishing boat was seen coming into Shinnecock Bay around sunset last night, pulling into its home located at the dock next to Shinnecock Inlet. This particular boat goes out every morning to the Atlantic Ocean, trolling for squid. However, who knows what they also pull in with their daily catches. A hot scuba diver perhaps?
