Last night, NYC's coolest hipsters congregated at The Blind Barber to knock back some cocktails and celebrate its opening. The bar's bronze and vintage-inspired interior combined with kitschy barber shop feel (complete with striped pole!) provided a unique backdrop for dancing and tunes spun by DJ Tim Barber. More»

Some things should remain old fashioned.  Ice cream parlors, Diners, Drive in's and...Barbershops.  In Manhattan it's even more important to bring us back to small town America, which is why we are getting excited for Freeman's Sporting Club (F.S.C.) and their new-OLD barber shop which will open its doors this Thursday, though there is a special opening party tonight.

"The F.S.C. barbershop offers traditional men's grooming services performed by Master Barbers and stylists. We teamed up with Sam Buffa whose goal in creating the barbershop was to offer an alternative to high end Manhattan salons.
