The Half Street Fairgrounds hosted the inaugural Capitol Groove Festival on Saturday, which showcased some rising talent in DC's music scene, like Drop Electric, Lightwaves, The Silver Liners, Redline Graffiti, and The Blackout Project. On Saturday, Regional Food and Drink hosted the Making Strides for MS Pong-A-Thon. Thirty-two teams of two gathered to play the popular college game of beer pong that raised almost $5k.

All the proceeds will be going to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Chapter, to fund research and local programs.

The winning team of Jill and Josh Mersfeider won a $300 cash prize plus fun championship belts commemorating their achievement. More»
