Now that summer is here, we are pretty much in store for nothing but sunny days and clear, cool evenings and with no rain in sight, L.A. is taking advantage with outdoor movie screenings popping up all over the city. Going to a movie with friends or a date is an American institution, but summer outdoor screenings are upping the ante with DJs, food trucks, live music performances, BYOB and those colorful L.A. sunsets right before showtime. From screenings of cult classics on the Hollywood Forever Cemetery lawn to a "bike-in" outdoor movie on the L.A. River, there is something for everyone, no matter your budget. We've consulted our sources and gathered all the details for the many opportunities to catch some flicks under the stars this season with this guide to L.A.'s top 10 outdoor screening series happening this summer.

If I've learned anything about the male species from growing up with my father, it's that men tend to be simple creatures of routine who don't require many accoutrements in their day-to-day life to be content. But that doesn't mean they don't appreciate them as gifts. And with Father's Day coming up this weekend, we've done the legwork and come up with some ideas to help you in your hunt for the right present. Of course no earthly possession could ever show him how much you love him, but it definitely doesn't hurt. So give the big guy something he'll love this year with one (or more!) of these 10 ideas in our Father's Day Gift Guide.

Nightlife in New York City can get a bit expensive. All those cover fees and drink prices can really add up, so we decided do a little research on where to score some free booze and save a little money. Trust us, your wallet will thank you later.

Nobody, anywhere, does Cinco de Mayo like L.A. does. Cinco de Mayo belongs to us, and while that may seem like something to brag about, it's also a big responsibility. See, we don't automatically get to keep the title of Best Cinco City, and that means we all have to do our part by getting extra crazy this weekend. Luckily, there are loads of parties, so whether you're motivated by good food, strong drinks, loud music, or some crazy combination therein, we've got just the fiesta for you in this Cinco de Mayo Party Guide. Nobody, anywhere, does Cinco de Mayo like L.A. does. Not in Mexico, where it's really not that big of a deal, nor in New York, where you can't get a good burrito to save your life. See, we don't automatically get to keep the title of Best Cinco City, and that means we all have to do our part by getting extra crazy this weekend. Luckily, there are loads of parties on Saturday and Sunday, so whether you're motivated by good food, strong drinks, loud music, or some crazy combination therein, we've got just the fiesta for you in this  Cinco de Mayo Party Guide.

Craft beer aficionados and those looking for their new favorite brew can be thankful that they won't have to travel far to experience quality beer. Stouts, lagers, blondes or IPA's, there's something for everyone when it comes to beer in this city, but why not travel directly to the source of goodness: The Almighty Brewery. The brewery is the destination where a freshly made beer is within arm's reach, and sometimes accompanied by close friends and good food. We've compiled a list of seven breweries in and around New York City that will get your taste buds salivating for hops.

NYC wine bars are a dime a dozen, so we understand that it can be easy to play it safe and stick with those tried and true spots you already know and love. Like most mega-cities, L.A. is populated with lots and lots of people who grew up somewhere else, and this is never more clear than during the holidays, when the 20-somethings clear out of town so thoroughly that you can actually lift your arms inside The Brig.
