This past Thursday, an organization called ArtBattles threw an awesome party at Greenwich Village's Le Poisson Rouge. The concept is simple: four artists were given a theme and then asked to paint a masterpiece in just an hour or so. "Like jazz musicians," says a statement from ArtBattles, "these painters grab their instruments and attempt to entertain and inspire the world around them."
