As we discovered earlier this summer, Rebel Bingo is bringing bingo back in the best possible way. These super secretive bingo parties boast an itinerary of getting in on a bad-ass conspiracy, getting smashed, playing hardcore rebel bingo, winning sweet prizes (like an inflatable swimming pool) and drawing on each other (a lot). All of Brooklyn's finest came out with their dancing shoes strapped on for a wild night of tunes provided by VHS or Beta, Kids With Snakes and more.. As guests made their way around the industrial space we were strangely reminded of our (often traumatic) middle school years and the most crucial way to establish your status... More»
Ella Wednesdays at Ella Lounge have always provided a mix-tape of beautiful people. And this Wednesday was no different, with a swing of the magic wands that were going around, the party-fairies entranced the guests with a night of free-form debauchery. More»
Last Friday Webster Hall brought together UK dubstep duo Nero and LA hero Gaslamp Killer for a night of face-melting music. Girls & Boys of the night let go of their inhibitions and exposed a much more revealing side of their personalities. A side that is fame-hungry; hungry for reality television stardom. More»
This weekend DJ Steve Aoki tore up Montreal's Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) auditorium for his "Sunglasses at Night" show. Sometimes known as "Kid Millionaire," it's nice to see that the Benihana heir and founder of Dim Mak Records still knows how to work the turntables, and when the need arises, climb on top of them. Peeps Canadia (I love saying that) totally dug the show, some even misplacing their pants (below) in the fervor. I hate when that happens. More»

via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: There's something about the sweat, smoke, deafening music and aggressive men, right? I mean, you walk through those magical Southampton doors and it's like, MUST. MAKE. OUT. (See exhibit A below). Okay maybe not, but who doesn't love a little m.o.? Carry on, you two! Pink Elephant is clearly still jumping, so you might want to add it to your 4th plans, should you head out east. Pink is close to red, so it's totes patriotic and everything. God bless America!

Pink Elephant is often the source of our "Best $2k" photos, and sometimes people leave comments along the lines of "Is Pink Elephant paying you or what?" or "Enough of Pink, stop promoting them!" My response? Pink Elephant has never paid us a dime, nor has any venue we've ever covered. (Though the door is always open). With photos like these, how could we not use them? In fact, it took me over ten minutes today to decide on which one to profile as the main (it was between the one I chose and the first one below). Also, where else can you find confetti flying, foam, a giant steam machine, drum players, and an enormous mascot of a Pink Elephant dancing next to you? Nowhere.

Last Tuesday night, Rob Rich caught up with the legendary DJ Felix da Housecat live at Cain Luxe, along with Justin Tranter (Semi Precious Weapons), Amanda Lepore and others. No one had more fun, perhaps, than our brightly colored guest above rocking out in his fabulous trinkets and awesome spectacles. On second note, he may have had some competition....

To my embarrassment, I have never stepped foot into Le Royale, though have came close a couple of times. I have heard the place is rocking. In late August, Robot Rock featuring Blonde Acid Cult took the stage at Le Royale and Nicky Digital was there to capture the fun. I'm not sure how much this costs to get in, but I'm guessing, from the looks of it, it's significantly less than $2k. There are surprisingly some very attractive people that hang out at Le Royale.

There are some crazy shenanigans taking place over at Webster Hall in Manhattan every Saturday. These are just a taste of the photos from the Official Paul Van Dyk after party there this Saturday. The main event was at Pier 54, but the after party was clearly where the action was. Clearly. Not quite $2k to get in, (try $40), but these kids make it look like it was worth a million bucks.
