Summer means so many wonderful things, from the longer warm days, plentiful BBQs, and tans, to the influx of potential unpaid day laborers (AKA interns). Friday night, the No Shirt/No Shoes residents, with the help of Tropicool, Bixel Boys and Surf Ambassador Hendo, took over The Standard's Purple Lounge to "froth to a degree which borders on unhealthy". In other words, play some funky fresh tunes to get all the kids to unwind and down with the weekend vibage. See how they got frothy amid the lounge's newly acquired Ryan McGinness Blacklight Paintings of neon female figures, which we have to say complement the purple-ness very nicely. More»
