Despite the gloomy weather, art lovers gathered at the Frederich Petzl Gallery for ArtSeen, benefiting the New York Foundation for the Arts. Guests were privy to a silent auction while sipping on cocktails from a bar coordinated by The Bubble Lounge. PR superstar Bettina Prentice (who seems to be everywhere these days!) served as one of the benefit’s co-chairs and greeted people at the door.  More story and photos below… More»

Last night, BlackBook Magazine took over Goldbar (what Steve Lewis calls “the most well-designed joint in town”) to launch their new Hollywood Fashion Issue as well as celebrate Fashion Week.  All of our favorite BBers - Andrew Berman, Cayte Grieve, and Uncle Steve, (who is well into his search for the perfect girlfriend!) were there.  More photos below… More»

So I’ve missed more than a couple of things.  Here’s another: two of our favorites (Steve Lewis and Lydia Hearst) finally meet (yes, they did host that Thanksgiving bowling party together at Lucky Strike, but anyone that’s played host knows how hard it is to meet and greet everyone).  So, want to know what was exchanged?  Check out GoodNightMrLewis for the scoop…and expect some good things in store after my absence, because even Guests need breaks.

BlackBook Magazine, Basil Hayden Bourbon, and Robert Verdi hosted the “Summer in Style” event at Kobe Beach Club last Saturday. Guests (who were quite fashionable I might add) at the soiree were treated to an array of delicious hors d’oeuvres such as lobster rolls, Kobe beef sliders, Kobe beef ravioli, mini crab cakes, bruschetta and salmon tartare while sipping delicious Basil Hayden cocktail concoctions and music by DJ Jesse Marco.

It was another busy night for us. We started the evening by stopping by the BR Concept store, which recently launched their summer collection. Our good friend Aloisio Vilas Boas is a co-owner and he showed us around the store. The store carries Brazillian brands such as Tufi Duek, Rosa Cha and Colcci. (one of my photographers at Artwing, Gui Paganini just shot the campaign with the amazing Giselle!) We sipped champagne as we shopped-very chic.
