Even though born and bred Upper East Sider Ariel Moses swore she would never watch the inane Bravo show NYC Prep, I somehow talked the Horace Mann and Columbia educated New Yorker into submitting herself to the incessant nonsense that is the Gossip Girl knock-off. Jeff Goldstein hosted the 1-year anniversary of his Bowery store, Blue & Cream on Tuesday night with an exhibition entitled The Big Picture featuring iconic images by Patrick McMullan handpicked and curated by one of our favorite boys on the scene, Patrick’s son, Liam McMullan. Patrick and Liam’s collaboration wasn’t the only excitement on display as party-goers also got a sneak-peek at Blue & Cream’s inventory including a preview of the Richie Rich for Yellow Fever Clothing line.

As it starts to get chilly, we start to hibernate for the winter.  We usually do a lot less and try to stick close to home and familiar places.  When it was time to see an old friend we couldn’t think of a better or cozier spot then Waverly Inn.  Our dinner companion for the evening was Ally Hilfiger. Ally recently returned to the city and has jumped right back into the swing of things.  She’s painting every day, collaborating with Page 6 on a column and is getting ready to start on her own clothing line.  She may also have a new man in her life but is definitely not what you read on Page 6!  She’s always a joy to be around and last night was no exception.  Others bold face names at Waverly last night included Michael Kors, Laura Dern and Martin Scorcese.

Looks like Olivia Palermo will be hoping on a Hampton Jitney for a ride out to East Hampton on the 23rd of June to “host” a launch party for Izzy Gold’s summer line of clothes at the Blue & CreamLola.

Olivia and boyfriend Brad Leinhardt for the cover of Japanese Elle. Other guests will include among others Francesca Wilson. The Blue and CreamLola will also be hosting a few other events this weekend, including a photography showcase for Jamie Newman on Saturday from 4-7pm, and a crunk trunk showcase for Madison Harding from 12-4pm on Sunday the 24th:
