This week was a big one for the fashion and beauty crowd. With a pop-up gallery at the Frye Georgetown featuring fashion photographer Jerry Buttles, the grand opening of a new Bluemercury location and the launch of Of Mercer, a new work-wear fashion brand, DC got a little more fashionable and a little bit prettier.
Let's hear it for the boys because at last night's pop-up gallery at Frye in Georgetown, they stole the show. The parties and pop-up galleries at Frye always draw an extremely fashionable crowd and in no way did the ladies fail to dress to impress but this round of Best Dressed Guests is dedicated to the deserving dudes who stepped up their sartorial choices with layering, accessorizing and more!
Bold, beautiful brows had their moment in 2013 and it shows no signs of stopping in the new year. With the likes of Cara Delevingne's and Lilly Collins' brows as the main attraction (kind of--they're both all sorts of stunning), you best be ringing in 2014 with well-groomed, plucked brows. Lucky for us, Nectar Skin Bar has added a new Brow Artist, Nicole Healy, to their team of beauty experts and to celebrate her new position, Nicole will be giving free brow appointments today and tomorrow! The 14th and U Street Corridor is largely regarded as one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in DC, often populated with trendy 20- and 30-somethings shopping the boutiques and hopping the bars.
