If Barbie hopped in her convertible with Skipper and Midge and cruised east for the Hamptons, this is where they would stay. While this crib might not compare to their Malibu beach house, there's no denying that this pink trimmed, two-story Victorian home complete with matching potted pink flowers and balcony would win them over in a heartbeat. Can you guess where we spotted this real life doll house? More pics below... More»
On Saturday, we were honored to take a private tour of the Atwater Estate in Westhampton, Beach. Len Conway, the owner of the estate, played host on Saturday to A Christie’s First: A Special Sale of Fine and Rare Wines in the Hamptons. This estate boasts an impressive 24 rooms, 6 fireplaces, and has 1,000 feet of private waterfront property. The home exudes an "elegance, history, and Old World charm of a bygone era" according to Kathleen Coumou, VP for the Northeast Region of Christie's Great Estates. More»
Even though houses on the beach seem to be the most sought after commodity in the Hamptons, this mostly wooden mansion on the canal in Quogue wouldn't have us minding the walk to the beach one bit. "Evidence, A Dance Company hosted its fifth annual fundraiser “On Our Toes” in the Hamptons at Nova’s Ark, in Bridgehampton. It was a festive outdoor celebration complete with a pre-event cocktail reception and a dance performance, which included the dance company’s signature work “Grace,” created by founder, choreographer and artistic director Ronald K. Brown. Television personality René Syler served as the Mistress of Ceremonies.
The festivities included a live auction and raffle, which featured donated items from the G. R. N’Namdi Gallery, Continental Airlines, the Daily Blossom, Sony Electronics, Tiffany & Co., Emily and Ashley, Banyan Tree Mayakoba Residencies and Bravura Art Gallery. One of the evening highlights was the post event reception, “Dancing with Dancers.” Nova’s Ark was transformed into a discotheque and guests had an opportunity to dance with Ronald K. Brown and members of the dance company."

[Truman Capote's House]
Okay so this house, in Sagaponack, doesn't actually still belong to the author (it is now owned by fellow artist Ross Bleckner ), however it will always be the site of where much of Truman Capote's work was penned.

Wass Stevens, the man, the myth, the legend, was spotted at the opening day of Polo in Bridgehampton this weekend. In his pastel stripped suit, white pants, and slick 'do he showed us all how Polo is done- Wass style. Though he doesn't need a Polo match to create sartorial magic...he's an absolute pro of that on and off the fields.
The opening day of the Bridgehampton Polo Tournament brought out tons of spectators in their perfectly polished get ups. Enjoy a montage of the photos below by Rob Rich. Or go here to see them in gallery form.
