New York City based Brooklyn Royalty debuted their Spring 2009 collection Falling Off the Edge of the World yesterday in a hidden loft only steps away from Bryant Park. American Ballet Company dancers hung up their pointe shoes and put on their high heels to rock the runway in Bob Bland’s energetic, super-fun, and fiercely cool designs. Everything from hand-dyed jersey, washed silk chiffon, Italian leather, and waxed cotton canvas was seen paired with beautiful jewelry designs by Jee Yun Ha for Brooklyn Royalty. Bland’s choice in these feathery, delicate accessories contrasted perfectly with her Brooklyn inspired urban designs.

Bob Bland, the founder of Brooklyn Royalty hosted The Brooklyn Royalty Video Lookbook party at 3rd Ward last night.The video was upbeat, well edited, and full of sick outfits …not to mention beautiful models.
