The Observer's Spencer Morgan made a trip up to the Greene Correctional Facility in Coxsackie, NY to interview Giovanni Luciano, the "Bungalow Thief".
Growing up in Milan, Giovanni was a spoiled rich kid. He moved to NYC and was a nobody....until one day he decided he would like to be a "somebody" here. So, he convinced a group outside of hotspot "Butter" that he was an heir to the Dolce & Gabanna clothing empire and the rest was history. In the interview, which is a sad look into what the NYC nightlife "bug" can do to some, Giovanni shares his experiences from inside his prison walls, on missing Cipriani's and why Etch-a-Sketches are more than just toys.
