I always knew that St. Patrick's Day meant different things to different people, but I just kind of figured that meant that some people liked Jameson more than Bushmills, or maybe that you stuck to beer in the early afternoon if you had some place to go at night. I didn't really figure it meant attending a massive rave in San Bernardino and seeing Steve Aoki do a show with a special appearance by Travis Barker. But as you can see in these awesome Cobrasnake photos of Beyond Wonderland, that's exactly how it went down this past weekend. More»
St. Patty's Day is nigh, and we here in Los Angeles aren't going to let cities with actual Irish communities have all the fun (suck it, Boston, Philly, Dublin, etc). Since no one wants to encourage negative stereotypes of Ireland like extreme religious devotion or massive bricks of dense, unreadable literature, you might as well start preparing your liver for Saturday's embrace of the positive Irish stereotype. But if you scored an invite to the penthouse of the Roosevelt for Modular + Puma's Pre Grammy Party, let's hope you ditched whatever else you had going on. If not, you missed out on the chill vibes (a rarity of awards season events awards season in general) of the very intimate and stylish party thrown in honor of Cut Copy's Grammy nomination, plus a surprise guest DJ set by the group, which just so happens to be one of our favorite bands. Oh, and some quality open bar situations. More»

In an attempt to discover how hard liquor bonds us all, Bushmills Irish Whiskey hired some cameras to capture the beginnings of new friendships, animosities and (maybe) rivalries at the Bowery Hotel Terrace yesterday. Chromeo, Kai Regan, DustLaRock participated in the study, and here are the results. More»
