The Capital Club, a social and philanthropic group of 100 men, hosted the 25th Annual Swine on the Vine on a farm outside of Fredericksburg. Guests enjoyed pig-pulling, live music, booze and a bonfire. We stopped by for the tail end of the party to snap some night shots of the guests before they bused to Mason Inn for the after-party. The Capital Club, an exclusive social club of 100 men that was founded in 1980, is best known for hosting preppy Georgetown socials at events with charitable beneficiaries. Their biggest one, the Sinatra Soiree, is this Thursday, and has typically attracted a ton of 20-somethings clad in critter pants and sundresses dancing to Sinatra music since it first started in 1992.

From the second I stepped into the 18th century foyer of Georgetown’s City Tavern Club for the Capital Club’s annual Santa Soiree, I could tell I was in for a treat. The cheery laughter and infectious fun I was greeted with at the door pervaded the entire evening, making for a truly spectacular holiday party. More»
