Dr. Jane Aronson had a lot to be excited about, last night. The founder of the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, here embracing Mary-Louise Parker, had a successful fifth annual benefit gala at Capitale. Honoring Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh Jackman’s wife, the fundraiser featured a performance by the proud husband and current Broadway actor.

So Diesel’s new men’s fragrance is called “Only The Brave,” and the face of their courageous scent is none other than rapper Common. As part of a publicity campaign, they had Common perform at Capitale last night, offering entrance to industry insiders, to celebrity friends, and to consumers who bought more than $117.50 worth of the perfume at participating Macy’s locations. Kristin Davis was honorary chair of St. Judes’ Chocolat au Vin this past Thursday during an evening at Capitale, NY consisting of “dancing, desserts and dreams” along with a special performance by Tony Bennett. The menu was prepared by chef Daniel Boulud. Several of the guests in attendance were Gossip Girl’s Connor Paolo, Steve Guttenberg, Cuba Gooding Sr., Sport’s Illustrated Model Jessica Hart, Eric Trump, Jamie Lunar, Rebecca Minkoff, Sanna Lathan and Omar Gooding. All proceeds from the event went to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The Bowery was buzzing Wednesday night as guests arrived at Capitale for The Kitchen’s Spring Gala Benefit honoring Tony Oursler and Willard B. Taylor. Celebrating the commitment of Risa Pulver and Samantha Shanken, who founded the Research Institution and were also chairing last night’s event, elegant cocktails and wine were paired with food in the large airy venue that was once a bank. Richie Rich, ANTM alum Jaslene, Ally and Jill Zarin and others gathered at Capitale to support Operation Smile with the “Jr. Smile” collection couture event. The Movember Gala (the organization that encouraged men to grow out their ’staches for prostate cancer) held it’s annual gala this past Friday at Capitale.  Besides bringing people together for a great cause, they provided us with some of our funnest photos to date.
