So some of my friends and I were stuck in New York for New Year’s Eve and wondering what to do. The idea of being in a club on new year’s made us gag, so we came up with the idea to have a slumber party. We hadn’t had one since we were kids.
The only requirement was that you had to wear pajamas. And not sexy pajamas, comfortable flannel pajamas….

We started our night with dinner at Waverly Inn. We had a large group including, Sparrow, Ro Pennuliar (Allure), Eric Spear, Will Wikle, and Timo Weiland. Waverly was a scene as always and we really couldn’t enjoy ourselves as we had overbooked ourselves again. After not so much as a cocktail, we air kissed the group and headed out the door and were pleasantly surprised to bump into Kipton Cronkite’s on our way out.
We next went downtown to the Martini & Rossi/Interview magazine party at the New Museum. As is the case with all parties held there, the door was a nightmare and after wrangling in (Thank you Douglas Marshall!) We headed upstairs to drink Martini & Rossi on the rocks, which is surprisingly quite good.

Let us catch our breath before we begin. Ok, ready, here we go.
We began our night with dinner at La Esquina with Matt Levine. Matt is the owner/designer of Steelo Clothing but we weren’t there to discuss clothes. He was excited to tell us about his newest venture, The Eldridge. The Eldridge is the name of the new club that is going to be opening within the next couple of weeks. We know you’ve all heard this before, but we believe this time it’s true, the Eldridge is going to be unlike any club in New York City. The Eldridge is going to be more exclusive and luxurious than anything currently out there. It is going to raise the bar on New York nightlife. And that’s all we can say…for now.
