Last night, Teen Vogue editor Amy Astley threw a party at Rose Bar for "The Teen Vogue Handbook: An Insider's Guide To Careers In Fashion Today". The party featured guests from the fashion world such as Chanel Iman, Vera Wang, Oliva Palermo, Rachel Roy, Patrick Demarchelier, and Helen Lee Schifter. Also there to represent the book's target audience were various teenagers, although it seems pretty obvious that if you're at a party with Vera Wang and Patrick Demarchelier, you don't really need Teen Vogue to tell you how to break into the Fashion world. Kicking off Fashion Week Milan, AmfAR held an auction and show at La Permanente, which houses the city's fine art. Chaired by Janet Jackson, the event raised a $1.1 million gift. Kanye West, Bianca Brandolini d'Adda, Donatella Versace, Chanel Iman, Rachel Bilson, Eva Herzigova, Poppy Delevinge, Margherita Missoni and Renzo Rosso were just some from an elite guest list gracing the red carpet. The affair also marked the birthday of attendee Dita Von Teese, who celebrated another year by performing "Le Bain Noir" for the group. More»

Before St. Jude's Charity Hospital began research and treatment the survival rate for children with cancer was 4%. It is now 94%. That is an amazing achievement, but still cancer is the Number 1 killer of children. So it was to benefit this cause that the fabulous event called Design Cares was held.

Last night Julianne Moore and Bergdorf Goodman CEO Jim Gold held two celebrations in honor of Tomas Maier, the talented creative director of luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta. The party started with cocktails at the department store and moved onto a dinner at the the classic french restaurant  La Grenouille.
