What are the chances that we go to cover the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City on the very same weekend that there is a piece about the Hotel”s Fifth Floor nightspot in the Sunday Styles?  I suppose great minds think alike.  But I digress.  We had a wonderful time at this new boutique non-gaming spot this weekend.  There has been a lot of buzz surrounding this place, including the Fifth Floor where there is a bar and dance hall run by DJ Paul Sevigny (of Beatrice Inn fame) and a steakhouse named Chelsea Prime run by Stephen Starr (of Morimoto and Budakann fame).

It”s a bit of a gamble, no pun intended, but the Chelsea may just be what finally brings Manhattan hipsters down to the area and revitalizes an otherwise dodgy place.
