Yesterday, famed auction house Christie’s and Dior held a special presentation of the post war and contemporary jewelry sales and featuring Dior Haute Joaillerie Collection.  Christie’s Deputy Chairman, Laura Paulson along with guests including Lizzie Tisch, Chlo Cohen, Blair Hussein, Lesley Schulof, Lydia Fenet, and Alexandra Kotur dined and viewed some insane baubles. Last night, in collaboration with i-D Magazine and Gucci, Christie’s hosted a eclectic exhibition, celebrating the recent publication of a 600-page book entitled “SOUL i-D” (go HERE for more). The founders of i-D magazine, Terry and Tricia Jones, contoured this innovative exhibition to be assembled in the form of a suspended eye at the center of the gallery, “offering a prism window into the heavenly heart and soul of modern society.” More»

[Robbie Richards, Ginette Lospinoso, Margaret Russell] The leading lights of the design world descended on Christie’s Rockefeller Center galleries Monday evening for a cocktail party and auction preview co-hosted by Christie’s and ELLE DECOR. Guests browsed through galleries highlighted by paint colors by event co-sponsor Ralph Lauren Paint and admired furniture, fine art, and decorative objects to be featured in the auction house’s two-day Interiors sale on April 1 & 2. Last night Christie’s Fashion + Art hosted A Private Preview of Resurrection: Avant-Garde Fashion and Contemporary Art.  The event was hosted by Chloë Sevigny, Agyness Deyn, Mark Haddawy, Katy Rodriguez and Henry Holland with Thierry Mugler to celebrate the week and to preview Christie’s fall sales of Post War and Contemporary Art,  Impressionist & Modern Art and Resurrection: Avant Garde Fashion. Afterwards, Deyn is hosting a dinner for Holland.

Kelly Cutrone was there along with DJ Paul Sevigny, Tracy Stern, Allison Aston, Yigal Azrouel, Kate Schelter, Kelly Osbourne, Jennifer Creel, Holly Dunlap, Peaches Geldoff, Genevieve Jones, Jen Cohen, Dori Cooperman, Ellen Von Unwerth, and Agyness Deyn.

UPDATE: Kelly is live vlogging for the Cut!

We are big fans of the Flip Video. Apparently so is Kelly Cutrone. Last night at the Christie’s Fashion + Art Private Preview of Resurrection, Kelly got candid with the flip camera.  Her People’s Revolution is Keith Lissner’s label and Kelly, along with DJ Paul Sevigny (who was also at Keith’s party on Wednesday night) were once again helping host the party last night.  Full write up with photos to follow.
