You don't need to make the journey out the desert to see some quality live music this weekend unless country crooning is your jam. But for those who will not be sporting their finest jorts and Stetsons at Stagecoach, there is some really awesome live music happening right here in L.A. this weekend that we highly recommend you try to see. From the one and only Depeche Mode to Crystal Castles and Wavves, we've gathered the top shows for you in this guide to L.A.'s best live music to see this weekend. More>>

If you've followed our extensive Coachella 2013 coverage largely focused on the party scene and celebrity sightings, you may think we forgot all about the whole reason hundreds of thousands of people journey to the desert for two weekends. Rest assured team GofG L.A. has not. In fact, because our stage-hopping time at Weekend 1 was quite compromised by the party agenda, we returned for Weekend 2 just to get more festival music action. And even though we've been doing Coachella for years, the scene on the polo field is always an awesome spectacle that takes our breath away. Over and over again, countless times in a single day. Between the stunning desert backdrop, spectacular shows, bros bro-ing out, art installations, fashion, staggering crowds, mind-blowing heat and run-of-the-mill WTF moments, here's a look at the scenes from the festival grounds of Coachella 2013.

Everyone getting pumped for Stagecoach?? Oh, not this year? Well there's lots of really awesome non-Confederate-loving, corn-fed live music happening here in L.A. over the next few days that can probably makeup for missing Toby Keith. You know, Depeche Mode playing the smallest venue they've ever performed in L.A., two Crystal Castles shows--that sort of thing. We've gathered it all for you here in this handy guide to L.A.'s best live music to see this week, so get up and go see a show, dammit!

With the temperatures blazing in the Coachella Valley over the weekend, shade and cold, delicious beverages, preferably beside a pristine body of purified water, was the ideal scenario to keep cool for all land mammals in the area, including this year's festival artists. So it was a good thing Soho House decided to swoop in for a three-day pop-up oasis with BACARDI at a sprawling estate where lineup acts like La Roux, Major Lazer, New Order and Vampire Weekend could take refuge in the lap of luxury.

If Weekend 1 of Coachella is the best time to party, Weekend 2 is the best time to see music. But FILTER Magazine doesn't feel the two have to be mutually exclusive, throwing incredible Thursday night kickoff parties both weekends with stellar musical performances at the 11th Annual FILTER Yacht Club. Presented by American Eagle Outfitters' intimate apparel line, Aerie, take a peek inside FILTER Yacht Club's Weekend 2 rendition featuring bands like Cayucas, Feathers and more.

An enthusiastic and vibrant crowd of partiers who were just as content to be a part of the second round of Desert Gold Coachella festivities came out to the Ace Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs on Sunday to get down with The Do-Over and Adidas Originals. Guests at the DoChella 2013 party grubbed out on poolside BBQ and booze, while jamming to DJ sets and doing cannonballs into the pool. Hosted by Haycock, Strong and Blacc this party may not have had celeb guests running around, but that didn't stop these Weekend 2 revelers from throwing down like champs and enjoying the phenomenal Palm Springs weather.

For some famous faces, the best method of escaping the sting of Coachella FOMO was to not have it all by coming back for Weekend 2, and we cannot say we blame them since team GofG L.A. did the same. Although not nearly as celebrity-saturated as the week prior, there were certainly notables scattered across the polo field basking in the glorious sunshine and sandstorm-free weekend festival. Some diehards like Alessandra Ambrosio even doubled-down, coming out for round two after last weekend. See her, Karlie Kloss, Gerard Butler, Jessica Alba and others festing it up at Coachella Weekend 2 as captured by Instagram.

After four years as an official sponsor of the festival, H&M at long last threw its first Coachella weekend party at the famous Merv Griffin Estate on Saturday. The H&M Loves Music event featured live performances by Santigold, The Dough Rollers and party tunes provided by DJ Michelle Pesce and DJ Shorty Stump for over 500 guests to enjoy while lounging in the shade with cold drinks and bites. Among the notables who stepped out for the event were Diane Kruger, Jason Wu, Sophia Bush, Joshua Jackson, Julianne Hough, Justin Chatwin and Darren Criss. Check out the slideshow to see photos from H&M Loves Music and see why we're hoping it was just the first of many H&M Coachella parties to come. More>>
