Sarah Jessica ParkerNow that the new season of Gossip Girl is airing, there isn’t as much anticipation following the cast and crew filming. That’s fine, because it allows us to refocus on Sex and the City 2’s treks across our NYC streets. Yesterday the ladies taped a coffee shop scene on West Broadway and Prince, and we caught them up close and personal in between takes. It’s nice that these sessions are back to waving and strolling after a little blip of overcrowding and yelling. Peeps just needed to calm down. More»

Fans of Sex And The City know that since his introduction in Season 5 is Miranda’s son, Brady. Well, take a look at the picture at left: Brady is back. And big! Hopefully, Sex And The City 2 will answer the question fans have been wondering for years: Now that Miranda And Steve are married, is Brady’s name still Brady Hobbes? With the plethora of cool projects in the works, Aliquot Films had much to celebrate at last night’s investors party hosted by Founder Jay Kubassek at the IMI Club.  The independent film fund and production company will begin shooting “Meskada” on June 8th - the film will be the second feature in production for the NYC-based Aliquot Films. Broadway Impact held a rally in midtown Manhattan Sunday afternoon to support Governor David Paterson’s same-sex marriage bill bringing together thousands of supporters along with the help of Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, David Hyde Pierce, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Cheyenne Jackson, and Gavin Creel spreading the word that “There’s no room for discrimination in the Empire State”. The bright young things of the film world continued to celebrate the 14th Annual GenArt Film Festival presented by Acura with the premiere of Lymelife last night at the Visual Arts Theater in Chelsea.  Many of the cast members, including Alec Baldwin, the Culkin boys, Jill Hennessy, Emma Roberts, Adam Scarimbolo, and brothers Steven and Derick Martini (also the writing and directing team behind the film), attended the viewing before heading over to the after party at The Park. Last night was the US premiere of Sex and the City at Radio City Music Hall and by the looks of things, New Yorkers are definitely ready for some great sex. They were not disappointed.

Our group, included Jamie Korey and Supermodel of the Year, Lydia Hearst who made her way, very slowly down the pink carpet. In front of us was the star herself, Sarah Jessica Parker, looking stunning in a silver gown. Behind us was the boy toy of Sex and the City, Jason Lewis. Up ahead we spotted Jennifer Hudson being interviewed by one of the many hundreds of camera crews surrounding the pink carpet. Every few minutes, the throngs of people that were gathered outside to watch the arrivals would erupt in screams as stars such as Jerry Seinfeld, Mary J. Blige, Eli Manning, Ashley Olsen, Katie Couric and Molly Sims made their arrivals.
