Sure, that foundation for cross-eyed Golden Retrievers in Santa Monica is making a positive difference or whatever, but there's really no comparison to a organization that helps real human beings in distress, right here in Los Angeles. Let's face it: any DJ crew can call themselves "World Famous", and it doesn't necessarily mean squat. Just because someone at Bar Marmont let Paz De La Huerta drunkenly control the iPod for a few songs, that doesn't make her a "World Famous" DJ any more than it makes her an icon of responsible life decisions.
