The Museum of the City of New York hosted their annual New York After Dark benefit bringing together hundreds of New York socials and the museum’s loyal supporters for the benefit hosted by Fendi. Guests including Amy Fine Collins, Celerie Kemble, Dalia Oberlander, Thom Filicia and many more paraded onto The Palm Court of The Plaza for drinks, a buffet, and to show off their “after dark” evening aware amongst the city’s elite in attendance showing support for the museum. Last night, the dreary skies couldn’t keep our NYC socials from trying to save our beautiful rivers.  Riverkeeper’s Amanda Hearst and Luigi Tadini welcomed friends to”BLUE” - A Junior Council Soiree Event to Benefit Riverkeeper on the rooftop of the Empire Hotel (where the Hudson would have been visible, had the weather cooperated).  Riverkeeper Organization has been protecting the ecological integrity of the Hudson River and it’s tributaries, and safeguarding the drinking water of NYC for over 40 years.

Jill Zarin showed us that she is not only a real housewife of NYC but a real philanthropist too as she and her husband Bobby Zarin dazzled last night’s 8th Annual Kick Off Party for ARTrageous, a fundraising project to benefit foster children.  Besides the Zarins, who co-chair  ARTrageous, Dalia Oberlander, Karin and Alan Wilzig, and other socialites, artists, and philanthropists attended the March 10th event at the home of Henry Buhl.  On March 11th the Zarins will receive an award for their work with this charity for family and children.

Life’s not always fair: Some people are good looking, popular AND talented. I consider contemporary artist David Foote to be one of those people. Strikingly handsome, amazingly talented and all of society’s most fun ones hang all over him (that’s if they are not already one of his muses for his works – New Girls!). Last night I found myself at the ultra-luxe 20 Pine residence downtown to view David Foote: (in) Res-i-dence collection in the Penthouse @ 20 Pine (presented by WHITEWALL Magazine, The Essence by Porsche Design and KWIAT). His art adorned the walls of the stylish penthouse as mobs of the typical PMc shutterlets crammed in to see it all.
