(The #1 hotel goes to Bushmans Kloof, a wilderness reserve in the Cedarburg Mountains on the Western Cape of South Africa. The runner up? The Oberoi Vanyavilas in Ranthambhore, India. Fashionistas, socials, celebrities, and nightlife staples gathered at the rooftop of the Gramercy Park Hotel last night. The weather was impeccable, and as the Grey Goose flowed, Alan Philips, Josh Shames, and Track Entertainment celebrated the launch of Deluxe Experience (DeluxeXP.com) with Upper Echelon Shoes.

This is Second Time Around’s first store in New York, although there are eighteen other shops sprinkled along the East Coast spreading from Maine to DC. The store is a glorified consignment shop that adheres to a strict set of rules when accepting used clothes from patrons. Yet, these rules are truly what sets Second Time Around apart from so many other consignment shops. More »

Guests chatted and sipped on champagne or summer cocktails as DJs Jus Ske and Sinatra played. Friends of L.V. in attendance included Derek Blasberg, Jason Binn, David Chines, Douglas Marshall, Helen Lee Schifter, Jennifer Creel, Daniel Lalonde, and Renata Merriam, to name just a few. More »

A perfect pairing, considering that the mission of Afghan Hands is to teach Afghan widows how to be self-sufficient using their hands to embroider shawls and scarves that can be sold around the world. Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, Emma Snowdon-Jones, Tia Walker, and David Chines, just to name a few guests, came to admire the handiwork made by Afghan hands. More photos below… More »

Despite the gloomy weather, art lovers gathered at the Frederich Petzl Gallery for ArtSeen, benefiting the New York Foundation for the Arts. Guests were privy to a silent auction while sipping on cocktails from a bar coordinated by The Bubble Lounge.
