Zach Hyman Gets A More Than Decent Opening Parting For His Decent Exposures Exhibit
At 22 years old, photographer Zach Hyman had quite a turn out for the opening reception for his show at Chair And The Maiden gallery on Christopher Street. The aptly titled exhibit, Decent Exposures, consists of photographs taken of naked volunteer subjects in public New York City places such as the subway. He says he…”gives himself just 30 seconds to take 10 shots of nude models with his Hasselblad 500 C/M film camera and conducts his shoots in all natural light.” More »

Tuleste Market Heats Things Up With Launch Of New Collection

[DJ MessKid spins in between the Sea City Dancers. Photos by DAVID X PRUTTING for PMc]
To say Celeste Greenberg’s Tuleste Market Collection has taken off is an understatement. The jewelry line is a constant source of social musings. Besides their parties thrown, I have consistently ran into fans of the line out and about. This Wednesday night, Mr. West glammed things up and played host to a cocktail party in celebration of Tuleste’s newest collection as well as the launch of their new website. The beautiful Sea City Dancers were wearing nothing BUT the pieces, of which were draped across their chests. And, as if this crowd needed help looking any hotter, David X Prutting was there, one of our city’s most talented photographers, to capture all of their hottest angles on film.

[Natasha Poly, Alexander Wang. All photos by David X. Prutting for PMc]
Radar Entertainment and The Last Magazine had an end-of-Fashion Week party to end all fashion week parties last night at the studio of Ross Kossovitz of K&M Tribeca, and we hear it was a rager–a “hot, sweaty mess” to be exact–according to David X Prutting, who snapped all the photos. Partygoers Alexander Wang, Stavros Niarchos, Richard Chai, Phillip Lim, Zoe Kravitz, Natasha Poly, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, Byrdie Bell and a slew of others let loose into the wee hours.

The Iconoclasts Take Over Prada
The fashionable Iconoclasts took over PRADA’s Broadway store this Friday and David X Prutting was there to capture the fun, which mainly included beautiful people mingling with one another. The Dutch design duo behind Arnheim Fashion have been giving menswear a “jolt” for years now, and after Friday’s party, they have another hit event to add to their roster.

Congratulations Chau Ngo And David X Prutting! NYC’s Sexiest Couple Now Engaged After Romantic Proposal In Italy!
“L’amore mantiene giovani.” (”The heart that loves is always young.”)
After three years of sharing their ups, downs, and everything in between with each other, David X Prutting and Chau Ngo are officially engaged! They met in ‘03 while in college (she was at St. Lawrence, he at Ithaca College). David knew he wanted to be with her after their first meeting (after three years, they were). He proposed to her on their Christmas/New Year’s trip to Italy, the land of so many famous romantics before him.

Beautiful People At Vito Schabel’s “Flowers For Baudelaire” Give Us Photography Worthy Of It’s Own Show

[Photos by DAVID X PRUTTING for PMc]
Maybe it was the vogue setting, or perhaps the fact that every guest present was GORGEOUS, not to mention unfairly photogenic. Whatever it was, last night, David X Prutting delivered some of the best photographs we have seen from him ever. Cutiepie Vito Schabel and Olivier Sarkozy presented Terrence Koh “Flowers for Baudelaire” last night at the former Richard Avedon Studio. Guests included:

Scott Goes xXx

[At home inside the Eldridge with Matt Levine looking on]
Go HERE for more pictures, and remember to tag yourself in the gallery!
It was another long weekend for us but rather than bore you with a lot of details we will just give you the highlights:
We headed over to Eldridge early Friday night for Richard Branson’s book signing. Richard was sweet, jovial and posed for pictures with whomever asked. We jokingly asked him for some free Virgin Atlantic tickets and he laughed. Others at the party include Greg Link, Brad Leinhardt, and Brianna Swanson. Afterward, we headed over to dinner at Thor (Nancy Allen sat across from us) then the new Friday night party at Megu where we ran into Sparrow, Tim Garcia and a lot of models. We headed back to the Eldridge for the remainder of the evening before heading home.

Happy Birthday David X Prutting! Love Your Neon-Latin-LA CHIVA-LOCO-Friends!

[LA CHIVA crew aka NYC's finest]
Go HERE for photos of this event by Julian Defeche Mackler
Everyone knows a party’s only as good as it’s guests. This is something that David X Prutting, and Chau Ngo found out the hard way. It takes a lot to get me out of the house lately, but there was no way I was going to miss David X’s “Birthday Bus Fiesta and Roller Skating Bonanza” Saturday night. Take 50 of NYC’s best youthful characters, add in the feast of San Gennaro, not just one, but TWO choices of dress (pick your poison: either festive Latin or neon disco/80s), a Roller Jam USA party in Staten Island, and LA CHIVA, the ultimate Colombian themed chicken bus…and let the fun begin. There was one problem…the chicken bus had chickened out.
