Down By The Hipster has finally decided it is time to grow up....so, Scott has revamped his entire "look". Whether or not this means he has revamped his attitude, well that's another question, though I'm not sure if that part of him is quite ready to mature.
This was an email that I received today by DBTH:

Subject: Eldridge - Comment Requested
Hey,We have heard from a source that your writer Naeem will be working for The Eldridge a few nights a week, handling promotions and the door.
- Is this true?
- Did you know that he had a stake in the promotion of the new venue with the two posts?
- Is it your policy to allow editorial staff to include personal promotions in their posts?
- If yes to #3, can you tell us which of your editorial staff have been promoting in their posts?
Thanks!
So, I went straight to the source and called Scott and Naeem today. This is what they had to say:

"Is this spat between you guys for realz" asks fellow friend blogger Cajun Boy.
Hmmmm....how to answer that. Well I mean being called an idiot over and over by annonymous commenters Scott Solish certaintly FELT real...Being told to go back to Omaha and stop trying to "make it" out here (oh how I would love to be home some days) FELT real...(ps where are you from again Scott?), and the incessant stealing of my posts only to backdate his timestamps, the mudslinging and photoshopped images of me...blah blah blah, were, last time I checked, all "REAL".

Plovgh, the new online farmers market
Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.
