Elle France magazine writer, Nathalie Dolivo had the ultimate payer dans la bouche moment. In a recent blog post for the magazine's website titled "Black Fashion Power," Dolivo wrote:

"For the first time, the chic has become a plausible option for a community so far pegged [only] to its street wear codes."

She suggests that the style bar in the Black community has grown greatly thanks to Michelle Obama. Such a statement, as well as the post in its entirety (which Elle France removed as of January 24, 2012), had readers' undies in a bunch. Granted, the First Lady has flawless style, however there are many Black women who pioneered fashion not only in the Black community but the world.
