If you walked away with an "I 'heart' carnies and cocktails" pin, chances are you had a mind-boggling time. If you like fire eaters, sword-swallowers, acrobats, popcorn, hot dogs, and cotton candy, you probably had a good time. If you like rock, rap, 70s disco-soul, modern electrobop, or marching bands, you probably enjoyed yourself. If you like open bars, roving bands of crazy performers and hipsters, billion-heirs, music lovers, party people, basically an amalgamation of New Yorkers, you loved Diesel XXX.
MC'ed by a raving tranny in a tent that resembled an adult circus, the scene was incredible. Check this, Marty Markowitz, the Mayor of Brooklyn, opened the event after an astounding marching band set the mood on stage.

Everyone and their mother was at The Diesel xXx "Rock and Roll Circus" 30th Anniversary 24-hour Global Party at Pier 3 in Brooklyn this Saturday. We were there too. In various forms. Set under a ginormous circus tent with side acts, free pretzels, hot dogs and alcohol, this crowd got rowdy. Stay tuned for our full recap of this concert later today.

Plovgh, the new online farmers market
Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.
