Last night GQ and Dior Homme hosted dinner guests including Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, Hayden Christiansen, Chace Crawford, Josh Hartnett, Taylor Momsen, Miranda Kerr and Byrdie Bell; gathered at the Cooper Square Hotel penthouse to honor Dior Homme Artistic Director Kris Van Assche, making his first official press appearance in the United States. The dinner was picturesque, to say the very least.

It’s been a while since we heard about Leona Helmsley with the press frenzy following her death. And of course the press had a field day—how many billionaire/hotelier/real estate moguls leave more money to their yappy little dog than to their flesh and blood relatives? Now that’s bitchy, and we mean that even without the pun. Plus, she earned herself the “Queen of Mean” nickname while she was serving time for tax evasion. Trust me, it’s not often where we come up with something so clever that both a.) shows she rivals royalty in her wealth and reigns over anyone that thinks they’re nasty enough to compete with her, and b.) rhymes.

Okay this seriously must be a joke. Word on the street is that Tinsley Mortimer has been named the Dior Beauty Ambassador in the U.S. She will be consulting alongside celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff to host Dior Beauty events and help launch their products.

The brand stated that “Her unique combination of style, visibility, and nonstop energy will help round out Dior Beauty’s roster of bold-face names, including Sharon Stone and Charlize Theron.”

Are they on drugs?! I can see having her be a spokesperson for Cipriani’s Sunday night parties (remember this?) but DIOR BEAUTY??
