Leading the battle against the heatwave that hit New York City on Tuesday night was Park Avenue Summer with its “Ceva Nights Summer Soiree” hosted by Cristina Civetta. Guests began the evening with red and white sangria before facing a four course Italian dinner and finally making their way onto the dance floor for beats by DJ Francesco Civetta, the original Izzy Gold. It was a theme to serve as a throwback to the Roman Empire day’s from the food to the decor. The party, series two of the Civetta’s Ceva Nights, was held in the wine cellar of Ristorante Primavera decorated in red and yellow the colors of Rome and a wonderful crowd enjoying wine and Roman cuisine. Typical dishes such as fava beans and pecorino and Roman style artichokes to start, followed by homemade gnocchi gratinata and rigatoni amatricianna. More»

This was Alexander’s first musical performance, in which he performed tracks from his upcoming album, which is in the works.
