Boys, boys, boys! Excuse us. MEN! It's fashion week in Milan and menswear is stealing the show. The Spring/Summer showcase kicked off Saturday night with shows from Dolce & Gabbana and Giorgio Armani whose designs set the tone of this chic week -- edgy sophistication. Think Chuck Bass. At least we'd like to think Mr. Bass would wear a bejeweled embroidered evening jacket with tapered trousers.

One thing we know is that Madonna's boy toy of the moment, Jesus Luz, swaggered down D&G's runway in the outfit. Designers are also looking at the past for inspiration...

[Photo via PMc] It has seemed since the Olsen twins have been old enough to date, they have done an excellent job of keeping their private lives away from tabloids and the public eye (er, right). While some of you may know Ashley Olsen has been quietly dating Justin Bartha, an actor best known for his roles in National Treasure 1 & 2, for the past year, Ashley made a very public appearance at the MET Costume Institute Gala last night with her undercover beau. Besides his roles in the popular adventure films, what many of you don't know about the actor is... well, anything. But now that he has been a staple on the arm of one of the city's (and the nation's) top fashion icons, we think it's about time we take a look at the 30-year old hearthrob. Afterall, what could be better than an action star in a Dolce tux?

At the beginning of every month out east there are two things I look forward to: The new release of Social Life Magazine AND the Issue Release Party at the Social Life Estate in Watermill. The two go together better than peanut butter and jelly. Early August was no exception as the east end jet-setters pulled themselves away from the BH Polo matches to get ready to celebrate Polo player Chris Del Gatto’s Social Life Cover at the SL Estate.

This is the one party that you always have to get to on time or you won’t be getting in. OR, you might get in but you have to worry whether your Porsche out front is getting towed. By the time I left I watched the angry cops taking pleasure in towing luxurious cars like the blue Porsche convertible that was parked next to the driveway. Ironically, the cops were not toying with the Hondas or Fords. Clearly some selective animosity there!
