Cocktails were served while some of the most current and important artists were celebrated, while at the same time helping to raise money to provide money for over 3,500 homeless New Yorkers every day. The Lower East Side Girls Club held its Willow Awards and Benefit Gala on Tuesday, with host Rosario Dawson. Guests like Kyle de Woody, Jed Walentas, Steven Alan, The Scissor Sisters, Piper Perabo, Andre J, and Jen Gatien enjoyed music by Moby, great food, exclusive luxury silent auction items, and a live auction of unique commissioned work created by artists Donald Baechler, Robert Gober, Tom Otterness and Kiki Smith, with guest auctioneer Marguerite Van Cook.
