Dogs, jewelry and drinks made Friday night a particularly tempting night for many Hamptons women who ventured to the London Jewelers boutique in East Hampton for a different kind of cocktail party. The Udell family's London Jewelers and the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons came together to host The Pet Project, a cocktail party where guests could get a buzz and adopt a puppy. A brilliant strategy that could lead to some big life altering additions. (And was banned in the West Village.) More»

[Fabian Basabe and Rachel Heller drink Grey Goose. Photos by Rob Rich]
From: hamptons.guestofaguest.com:
This past weekend, we sipped delicious Grey Goose La Poire cocktails with mint leaves and Bombilla iced tea and Grey Goose Pear Flower Martinis, at The Grey Goose Manor’s Fourth of July party (held the night of July 5th), where NFL Dallas Cowboy’s star Terrell Owens, Boomkat singer and actress hottie Taryn Manning, Mike Satsky, DJ Steve Aoki and social scener Fabian Basabe all held court. Other fabulous faces included Rachel Heller,
While we always talk about who was at the party (or who wasn’t, as the case seems to be), there is one thing we have failed to report. We have not yet given true coverage to the hottest accessories that everyone’s carrying: the cocktail. Below is drink-o-log of what all these fashionable scenesters are guzzling down as they hop from fete to fete:
From the lavish Belvedere Bash the infamous Patrick Duffy recently threw on Fire Island for his best pals Nick Balestrieri and David Yassky, with guests such as Patrick McMullan, to this weekend's 4th of July fetes at The Grey Goose Manor, The Estate, Kobe Beach Club, and BRAVO Housewife Jill Zarin’s, we have tasted enough cocktails to keep ourselves buzzing all summer long!
Don't get me wrong; World Pie, in downtown Bridgehampton, has very, very good pizza. The crust is thin and lightly chewy, the cheese a high quality mozzarella, the toppings fresh, fairly original, and reasonably generous. We ordered the "Farmstand," which featured summer squash, zucchini, eggplant, and cheese, and, while I would have loved a higher ratio of vegetables to cheese, the whole thing was gone in 5 minutes.
Still, $23 for a meatless, average-sized pie? I'm not exactly a pizza connoisseur, but this seems a bit high. Add to that the fact that our table remained breadless despite several requests and yearning glances, only to arrive, with flourish, two minutes after our meal, and I can't help but mark it down.
