It's time to look at the Manhattan Nightlife players that will be taking their talents out to the Hamptons this summer. Where will you be partying out east? Take a look at our initial roundup of hot spots!
[Dune 2009]. As the season of unbearable humidity and LIE traffic jams approaches, it's time we update our long-running "tag team summer" feature for Hamptons nightlife in 2010. What NYC Players are going to be out East this year and where will we be partying? More»
via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: Don't forget about all of the action over on our Hamptons site. Today's "Best $2k" is quite the doozy. A reader sent in some photos of their friends tearing down Dune nightclub...literally. This guy on the left is holding the evidence: the famous rope that he was just a little bit to heavy to swing from. He came crashing down with the rope in his hand (and his dignity left on the dance floor?)

Saturday's Beach Blanket Bungalow at Pink Southampton was apparently a misery loves company meeting spot. Amy Sacco was looking for ideas for her quickly dwindling reality show. Daniel Koch was there checking out the competition. His Day & Night Brunch party has had to battle one of the rainiest summers in recent history coupled with it's location's bankruptcy. And then there's LiLo. Broken up, back together; Dadio knee deep in a totally weird bromance. Drunk. Sober. We can barely keep track.
[Photos by Kirill]. When you own a Hamptons nightclub, birthday planning isn't complicated by the worries of all your friends getting in someplace, buying a table, etc.. It allows you to concentrate on other important details, like how to get people pouring tequila down each other's throats. It was just this sort of situation for Dune owner Matt Shendell. Fabolous and DJ Jesse Marco performed at the Asics, Culture Shoq and Perrier-Jouet sponsored birthday party, attended by guests including Jasmin Rosemberg, Zev Norotsky and Rich "Big Daddy" Salgado. Matt's recipe for bringing in another year was as successful as his East End hot spot, as evidenced by the undeniably boozed faces, the straight-from-the-bottle guzzling and general look of throwing down which for some reason is only perfected as an expression when out in the Hampies, very late at night, several drinks in. From: hamptons.guestofaguest.com:
The NY Times Sunday Styles did a piece on Dune in Southampton this past weekend titled "A Yacht Party In The Sand". It mentioned the $2k pricetag on tables, the inspiration for our daily column "Best $2k I Ever Spent!" Having actually BEEN at DUNE this Saturday, I felt compelled to give my two cents:
I hate nightclubs.
Even more than that, I hate going to nightclubs in the Hamptons...

I have a real treat for you guys today. From the place that inspired the whole concept of the "Best $2k" posts: Dune. We have had yet to have photos for you inside Dune, but today is the day where that ends as David X Prutting was there with his G9 last Saturday night. And it was obviously the place to be if you were out. Glancing through the album, the people I recognize include: Cutest couple ever alive, Rich Thomas and Tamie Peters Thomas, Olivia Cuervo, Stephanie Wei, Nick Hunt, Liam McMullan, and the Koch brothers, among many other beautiful people. Kevin Connolly was also there both nights last weekend! Labor Day weekend is sure to be a shitshow out east....stay tuned for our summer recap on all things Hamptons nightlife over at hamptons.guestofaguest.com!

Today's Fame Game Matchup is between one of my favorite Mother/Son pairs. Patty may be the reigning queen bee in the social scene (especailly out east), but it looks like her son Nick makes a fine prince. I met both of them this summer at their beautfiul home in Southampton where they were both more hosiptable than I could ever imagine!
