Not all of us are familiar with the science fiction and fantasy genre - many may think this arena is reserved for geeks and totally irrelevant to the fashion industry, but especially with the stunning pieces by Alexander Mcqueen, showcased in the "Hunger Games" wardrobe, the two realms have been colliding more than anyone could have predicted. Many designers have been inspired by science fiction masterpieces, from "Dune" to "Bladerunner," and it's hard to peel your eyes away from the incredible construction and overall aesthetic of these otherworldly pieces.
