Friday night was Cure By Design, a fashion show in the Atrium of the Ronald Reagan Building that benefited the American Cancer Society. Denigns by local designer Sondra Falk, Charlotte NC-based Luis Machicao, and NBC's Fashion Star Barbara Bates dressed the models, all of whom were cancer survivors. E! News' Giuliana Rancic delivered a taped a welcome video for guests, and WUSA9's Kristen Berset emceed the program after opening remarks from event founder and NYC-based fashion designer Alex Garfield. We have all heard the adage, “dogs are a man’s best friend." Well, if that is the case then fashion is certainly a close runner up, as was displayed Saturday when both canine and couture came together to benefit the Washington Humane society at Fashion for Paws. The worthy cause had the National Building Museum filled to the brim with all things fashionable and furry, and all of the guests were there to watch 70 models take the runway accompanied by some seriously decked-out dogs. The models not only looked amazing in outfits provided by Tysons Galleria, but each one also raised at least $5,000 for the Humane Society. Such model humanitarians.
The night was filled with the hottest looks for spring both on and off the runway, and was one of my favorite events this year. Check out who avoided any Fashion Faux Pas at Fashion for Paws and looked exceptionally fabulous at this spring style awakening.

Word on the street is Marie Osmond will be stopping by this Saturday's Fashion for Paws runway show, as a last-minute honorary chairwoman. After several days of being weened off Belvedere since his return from Park City, Party Baby has resurfaced to give us the final rundown of his Sundance coverage with the lovely Michelle Marie. When Robert Redford created the Sundance Film Festival in 1978, it's safe to say that he didn't realize the greatest event wouldn't occur until 2012. Sure, plenty of memorable moments have happened between now and then, but this year marks a special new milestone, as the Guest of a Guest L.A. team is proud to present a dynamic reporting duo making major waves at Sundance 2012: the lovely and talented Michelle Marie, a veteran of E! News Now, VIBE, Yahoo! Sports and VEVO, and her festival companion, a brash four-month-old who serves it up straight known simply as Party Baby. They'll be updating us from all the hottest parties, lounges, slopes, and everything along the way throughout the festival. Presenting, in Party Baby's own words, their first night at Sundance 2012.
