One can only imagine what it would be like to be the niece of a designer like Oscar de la Renta, but if the photos from this weekend's wedding of his niece Katherine Pingree found all over instagram (#andrewandkatswedding) are any indication, it's a life of glamor and chicness. We are salivating over the Gatsby-esque images from inside this grand wedding, which took place Saturday night at St. Luke's in East Hampton with a reception following at Further Lane Farms where uncle Oscar took the mic and serenaded his niece and the beautiful crowd. The Hamptons Free Ride boys are back again this summer, and this season they're hitting up Southampton. The electric shuttle had its inaugural ride back in 2011, when locals James Mirras and Alex Esposito started driving people, including Bon Jovi, around the Hamptons beaches for free. On top of their service in East Hampton, Montauk, and Amagansett, the Hamptons Free Ride boys will be cruising out to Southampton beginning on Memorial Day. On Wednesday, Elie Tahari East Hampton boutique helped kick off the Hamptons Classic, one of the largest outdoor horse shows in the nation. Hosted by Georgina Bloomberg, Chad Leat, and Stormy Byorum, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while shopping the new collection. 10% of all of the sales from the event were donated to the ASPCA.
