If you happened to miss Governor's Ball this weekend, or if you've been hitting up all the festivals so far this season, the good news is we've rounded up a few more for you to enjoy. The summer has only just begun and events like 4Knots, Catalpa, and Electric Zoo, have enough packed in them to take you to Labor Day. So no matter what type of music you're into, each of these events has something for every taste. More»

When I was younger, it seemed like the radio station mega-concert was the coolest thing on the planet. Nowadays you can't throw a bottle of $1,500 champagne in a New York nightclub without hitting a Coachella, EDC, or Bonnaroo, but back in the day, festivals like that only happened once in a blue moon (who remembers Woodstock '94?). So instead, we went to one-day, local radio sponsored concerts in sports stadiums with vaguely nonsensical names like the "River Rave". Well, it's a brave new world (with far superior festivals) these days, but not every radio station is ready to give up just yet. And if the new versions of those old radio station shows can still provide the talent like Power 106's PowerHouse, there's still hope for the classic radio station show yet. More»

If your favorite raver seems to be running about a quart low on serotonin today, there's a perfectly good explanation: they were probably dancing it up all weekend in Las Vegas at EDC 2012. And while you may have heard the disappointing news that festival organizers Insomniac were forced to cut the show short on Saturday night due to a raging desert windstorm, don't feel too badly for the party rockers, because they picked up again with a vengeance on Sunday, closing out the festival with a solid exclamation point. We've sorted through thousands of photos to give you a chance to live, or re-live, the madness. More»
If you have tickets for Electric Daisy Carnival this weekend, you're probably already set. Your bags are packed. You've studied the set schedule. You've designed a homemade Deadmau5 head with a Pauly D blowout on top (and what a tragic shame that those two won't be on hand to see it). But before you start driving towards Vegas, do yourself a big favor and read up on our essential tips to surviving the weekend. Because just like everything else in Vegas, there's a right way and a wrong way to do EDC. Don't you want to do it the right way? More»
So who's going to Las Vegas this weekend to get down to some electronic dance music? Actually, let's rephrase that: if you want to get down to EDM this weekend, you'd better be going to Vegas, because every artist you've ever heard of (and many you'll be hearing about soon) are all playing the 16th annual Electric Daisy Carnival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, starting tomorrow. And when we say "everyone," that's really not much of an exaggeration. Check out the just-released full set schedule and start your stage-hopping plans now! More»

We've been more than candid about our feelings regarding dubstep. It's not that we have a general distaste for the entire genre, we just feel that as with pretty much everything else in life, there is a time and a place for dubstep and it sure as hell is not in a Britney Spears song. But a pre- Electric Daisy Carnival show put on by Insomniac and headlined by dub pioneer Rusko at the Hollywood Palladium? That's precisely a dubstep-appropriate scenario we are down for along with the thousands of filthy beat-loving kids at Friday night's show. More»
With SXSW wrapped up, Ultra wound down, and Coachella right around the corner, Music Festival Season is hitting its stride. But where to go? There are a lot of options, and unless you're a Shah of Sunset, chances are you can't afford the cross-country tour to make it to them all. Don't worry though, we have spent a great deal of time researching all the festivals that you should be considering, and have the rundown on all the Whos, Whats, Whens and Wheres to help you decide which music fests to hit this season. So sit back, relax, and start searching for your credit card as we bring you Guest of a Guest's Guide to the Best of Music Fest Season. More»

Oh it sure did, Kaskade. Because Anthony Weiner, Charlie Sheen and the Morgan Freeman death hoax were not enough to prove the power of social networking, yesterday the famous DJ tweeted the following to his 90,000+ Twitter followers to test it out for himself:
