Last night, El Museo held a gala at Cipriani 42nd Street to raise operating funds for exhibitions and arts education programs within the Latino communities of New York City. This year's honorees were Luis Ubinas, the President of the Ford Foundation, and Emilio and Gloria Estefan. The event was co-chaired by Yaz Hernandez and Ruben and Isabel Toledo. Why: The host committee has enough notable names on it that they could throw a party with outus even showing up! Alas I'm glad I got included on the invite list. I can't wait to check out this beautiful penthouse. Tickets are $175 INVITE ONLY!
