[Azealia Banks]
2012 proved to be a pivotal year in music. Lana Del Rey continued to explode on the blogosphere, and Azealia Banks brought seapunk to the mainstream (with help from Rihanna). Additionally, multiple artists from the late 90's created new albums for the first time in over a decade. No Doubt's latest release "Push and Shove" was their first recording in 11 years. It's no surprise that 90's nostalgia provided inspiration for 2012. We've compiled a list of the top 10 albums to sum up our year of partying.

We're back with more Coachella coverage because we had so much fun this year and still have lots of cool photos to share. Whatever, deal with it. This year's pilgrimage spanning two weekends with identical lineups brought new meaning to the expression "different, but the same," with Weekend 1 so cold and rainy I had to buy kids jeggings at Wal-Mart to stay warm, and the majority of Weekend 2 as the mother of scorchers hovering somewhere north of 100º almost the entire time. Come with us as we show you everything from the pool parties, people (pretty, not pretty and just plain weird), performers and crowds in this visual journey through Coachella 2012, Weekend 2. More»
Welcome to round two of Coachella Weekend 2012. With one weekend down and another three days of shows ahead of me, it's almost like I get a do-over and can now make educated decisions for this round of Coachella evening stage-hopping. Having this personal wisdom and experience from which to base this weekend's festival choices, I thought I'd share my humble opinion with you all for anyone who cares to know what my picks and nixes for shows to see this weekend. There are many out there who disagree with much of what I'm about to submit to you but, as my dad always says, that's why there's chocolate and vanilla. Therefore, here's why I think you can't miss Calvin Harris and should *seriously* consider forgoing Radiohead in my Coachella Weekend 2 Shows to See & Skip. More»
- That sprawling mansion in Seaside Heights is apparently being vandalized by fans, excuse enough to cancel the Jersey Shore right? Right. [TMZ]

By all accounts, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's headlining Coachella show would have been jaw-dropping even if they had only stuck to bringing out surprise guests who were still alive. After all, Eminem, 50 Cent, Warren G, Wiz Khalifa and others all took the stage during last night's mega-set. But Radiohead had just played an instant classic two-hour set the night before, so Snoop and Dre knew they were going to have to go above and beyond to impress the crowd. I think doing two songs with Tupac Shakur on stage via hologram probably accomplished that. More»
