The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will air this Sunday, February 12, and like most awards shows, will probably be mostly pretty boring to watch. You're Belfast, and now that "dying in a fiery explosion" is no longer on the list of tourist activities, you're lacking a young, cosmopolitan appeal. What better way to seamlessly transition from political terrorism to cultural terrorism than by hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards? MORE>>
Pop Quiz time! You're Belfast, capital city of Northern Ireland and an up-and-coming European tourist destination, now that "dying in a fiery explosion" is no longer on the top-10 list of most common tourist activities. At Lollapalooza this past weekend, neither rain, nor heat, nor thunder, nor mud could keep the fans from enjoying the massive festival to its fullest. The 20th anniversary of the fest brought in over 270,000 people and well over 100 bands. More»

Yesterday, I ran a very even-handed critique of the Black Eyed Peas' Super Bowl halftime performance. Although many people agree that BEP are the worst thing 100 million Americans have simultaneously experienced since Polio, a few have told me that I have some sort of personal grudge against them and am only pretending to hate the show as much as I say I did. That's ridiculous. As proof that I come by my hate honestly, here's a bunch of non-BEP related things that I hated about Super Bowl XLV. More»
Christina Aguilera got the National Anthem right when she was 11, not so much at 30. Arianna Huffington was the true winner of the Super Bowl, and Nick Denton called me a "nasty piece of work" (!). But I'd rather be a piece of work than a blank screen. Gawker's redesign launch today is an epic fail. Also, check out my partner, Cameron Winklevoss and his brother Tyler on the Daily! More»
