With New York Fashion Week officially behind us, it's time to look ahead at the next big NYC event we're excited about: Restaurant Week. Although the prices have gone up slightly this year ($25 Lunch, $38 Dinner), we're quite pleased with the selection of restaurants participating in this year's Winter Restaurant Week, taking place from February 17-March 7th. One of the most common questions the staff at Guest of a Guest is asked is how to get into clubs. There's never really one answer, at least not an easy one, but to help solve this issue for so many eager club-goers, we decided to to hear it from the source. We talked to a few of our bouncer friends who guard the most notoriously difficult doors to find out how they view nightlife, and what they look for in people. They gave us the dirt, and it'll help you figure out what to do next time you want to make it past the ropes of the hottest spots in NYC.
As dance music makes a powerful resurgence in the United States, so does the dance club. Whether you are looking for a hole-in-the-wall club to let loose, or a LED lit stage to see a world-class DJ, these NYC nightlife hotspots are some of the top places to dance for every type of clubber. More»
In 2008 Surf Lodge, a quaint restaurant with a surf theme opened on Fort Pond with hardly much of a bang. Sure they had a hip chef running the kitchen and a verified Manhattan nightlife crew running the party scene, but the hundreds of cars and frat boys would take a year or two to fully figure out what was brewing in Montauk. Since then, the movement of the hampters (hipsters from Manhattan) and the share house yuppies looking to party in the Hamptons has consistently headed East (Luckily for Lizzie Grubman, Conscious Point isn't even a memory in the minds of current trend-seekers). Keeping on trend, Montauk's nightlife scene will continue to dominate the Hamptons this summer, despite the growing battle between the townsfolk and these summer subversives who will be infiltrating their territory come Memorial Day weekend. But we're not here to take sides, we're here to report. Check out our official guide to Hamptons Nightlife 2013! More»
It's almost time to spring forward and reset our clocks for Daylight Saving Time. We know it's barely spring, but most of us are ready to get into our summertime routine. Well, lucky for us, we can revel in our favorite Atlantic City hotspot this summer, with the debut of HQ Beach Club. The beachfront day club and pool lounge, brought to us again by Angel Management Group and EMM Group, opens in May. We're all too familiar with the infamous pool-parties at Revel's HQ Nightclub, so it'll be interesting to see how we handle ourselves at this new day-to-night club. More»
There's no denying that the official draw of New York Fashion Week is getting to see the new collections and shows, but unofficially, we know that no Fashion Week would be complete without the parties. The past seven days proved to be no exception, as our favorite designers and A-listers celebrated everywhere from Bow to No. 8. Click through to see where else the fashion set partied this week. These hot spots are sure to be your go-to venues this spring.

Before a great night out at one of New York's hotspots, a good dinner is in order. Except, no girl wants to walk more than she has to while wearing those 5 inch heels needed to get past the ropes. Club owners have noticed this as a major downside of going out in New York which is why more and more venues have recently been teaming up with top chefs to create a dining option right next door to their club. Some clubs even let you order food from the restaurant to your table at the club making certain their venues are a one stop shop. With that in mind, we give you some of the top places in the city to dine and dance. More»
