The movie screening craze continues! Last night members of You Are On The List, a VIP events concierge service, were invited to a special sneak peek of Rachel McAdams’ new movie The Time Traveler’s Wife at the Empire Hotel. Guests included the ubiquitous Real Housewife Jill Zarin along with Ally Zarin Shapiro, writer Traci Slatton and actor Pierre Downing.

You know Spring is here when the city’s rooftop bars start opening up to weekly parties.  The Empire Hotel Rooftop started off theirs with a “Spring Tuesdays: Sunset Cocktails and Jazz” night last night and the turn out was impressive.  Miss out on the fun? Don’t worry, this rooftop will be hosting “Spring Tuesdays” every Tuesday from 6:30-10:30 now until the end of Spring.

Guests at the Empire Hotel’s New Year’s Eve party got to party on a rooftop fully enclosed with glass, offering panoramic views of NYC.  There was a 5 hour premium open bar, food from Jeffery Chodorow, and three rooms with views overlooking Broadway, with DJ Suhel, our very own DJ from our GofG holiday party there providing the tunes.

The Empire Hotel Rooftop on W 63rd was the setting this Friday afternoon for the first of many US Open parties to come.  The EMM Group, along with The USTA & Heineken, hosted the official US Open Player Party and all sorts of tennis fans came out to help.

On Tuesday night, Brazilian Cachaça distiller Sagatiba hosted a rooftop party at the Empire Hotel right under the hotel’s emblematic sign. The brand’s master distiller, Gustavo Nahor, explained the history of Sagatiba to partygoers as they sipped their caipirinhas and other cachaça-based cocktails created by master mixologist Jamie Terrell.
