Last night, Marc Jacobs and Daphne Guinness hosted a party in honor of NARS Cosmetic’s 15th anniversary, which coincides with the publication of Francois Nars’ newest book, “15 x 15″, a collection of photographs taken by the make-up mogul himself. Last night, the King of Greene Street hosted the debut of the Tana Jewelry Collection. Creator Tana Chung displayed her distinctive design work to buyers and browsers including Erin Fetherston, Maggie Rizer, Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen, Kristian Laliberte, Miguelina Gambaccini, Annie Churchill, Emma Snowdon-Jones, Melissa Foss, Susan Shin,  Carter Cramer, Robert Fowler, Alexis Bryan, Jared Clark, Cena Jackson, Anisha Lakhani, Tamsin Lonsdale, Lara Meiland Shaw, Nick Raynes and Tia Walker; the crowd clearly a worthy rival to the beauty of the jewelry pieces showing.

Last night Byrdie Bell and Brian Atwood hosted an event at OpenHouse Gallery honoring Role Play Rene, a book featuring three magnificent works of art: the photography of Tony Duran, the Spring ‘09 footwear line of Brian Atwood, and the body of Rene Russo. While neither Tony or Rene could make the party, NYC socials like Lauren Santo Domingo, Genevieve Jones, Olivia Palermo and designers Erin Fetherston and Elise Overland, amongst others, came to view the blown up versions of the book’s pages. Now the real question on everyone’s mind: How does a 55 year-old have legs that great, Ms. Russo?
