Last night, Tommy Hilfiger and The Cinema Society threw a party for the new movie “Precious” at the Crosby Street Hotel. This indie flick about an illiterate, overweight Harlem woman certainly has an unexpected fanbase in the hearts of New York Cities rich and fashionable elite. Last night, the city’s scenesters donned masks to channel a little mystery for a preparty at Milk Studios and then the main draw, Interview Magazine’s Russian Masquerade Ball at the new and already popular hot spot, SL. The pregame included mixology concoctions created exclusively for the event by Stoli, jewelry gifts from Alex and Ani as well as makeup artists from MAC to glam up the VIP with the appropriate level of maquillage drama. This is Stanley’s favorite event of the year! The ASPCA Hosted its 2009 Fundraiser, “It’s Raining Cats And Dogs”, at the ICA Building in NYC. Lake Bell, Fabiola Beracasa, and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker all came to support The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty To Animals, although the guests Stanley was most interested were Ricky, Uno, and Bennie the dogs.
