We were warned of the repercussions for bad behavior, and now we must suffer the consequences. The gracious hosts, Vogue magazine, the Council of Fashion Designers of America and New York's tourism agency, have had enough of the antics and mayhem that Fashion's Night Out unleashed, so they have relegated New York to a fashionista's time out. While we grin and bear the punishment, we can still look back on the epic pandemonium FNO brought to Soho last year in September 2012. It won't be as good as the real thing but enjoy our Instagram trip down memory lane of the good, the bad, and the ugly from the very last Fashion's Night Out. More»

If there's one thing we noticed about this season's New York Fashion Week, besides the amazing clothes, is the number of athletes flocking to the shows. I was out and about in Georgetown Thursday for Fashion's Night Out with the rest of the stylish masses taking advantage of the free drinks…I mean, great deals. The best part of the evening was seeing everyone in what they consider to be their most FNO-worthy ensembles, and hearing why they chose it.  As for me, any night I can channel Stevie Nicks in an outfit is a successful night. With all the places to go and people to see, I could scarcely keep up with the fashion frenzy taking place. Lucky for me, there was no shortage of the stylish, and I had a creative bunch to include on my Georgetown FNO picks. More»

Were there any movie premieres or restaurant openings last night? If there were, they were probably pretty empty, because the full party energy of L.A. (and cities across the world, for that matter) was entirely focused on Fashion's Night Out. With nearly every boutique, upscale department store and hip fashion shop throwing open their doors to sell, spin and party into the wee hours, keeping track of all the fun was damn near impossible. Still, we did our best, which is why we're now proud to present to you our mostly photo-based roundup of all the action. Enjoy! More»

FNO is an unprecedented global initiative originally created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence and boost the industry’s economy during the recession.  FNO Georgetown was presented by the Georgetown Business Improvement District and in its fourth global edition (third in DC), Georgetown was the place to be. FNO in a nutshell
["Remnants of #FNO in Soho- champagne corks and glass everywhere." @eloisehamilton]

"'Fashion's Night Out' is the single biggest thing that has happened to our culture ever!," I exclaimed at breakfast this morning to my husband. Okay, maybe I was being a bit overzealous, but can you blame me? It's by far most inclusive, interactive, international event in our planet's history. More»
