Or, eh, well ok, we get it, we're not quite sure what you do then, but we have an alternative for you. And if you're just too burnt for the sun from this summer, there's no better way to seek refuge and still enjoy those last few days than a good old fashioned movie. While we're out prancing around on the pristine beaches of the Hamptons, chowing down on perfectly cooked burgers and dancing around till the sun's nearly up like summer may never come again, you can enjoy these final days of the season with our list of the Top Summer Movies. So here's some of the best of the best, including our own personal office picks. Turn up the air, break out the aloe for that burn, and try not to weep - summer's not over quite yet!

It saddens us when people only associate F.Scott Fitzgerald with high school English classes or A.P reading requirements. Or even worse, movie adaptations of his work. While we're huge (HUGE) fans of The Great Gatsby, the number of books he's produced worth reading are practically countless. Take The Beautiful And Damned for instance (no, not the movie Kiera Knightley was in) A novel that basically sums up moral depravity, The Beautiful And Damned takes a look at a young, wealthy New York couple in the 20s era who are whittling their money, and their lives away. via guestofaguest.com: Nothing says summertime more in the Hamptons like The Great Gatsby. Not only is the setting perfect, but who doesn't want to take part in a party whose theme is basically materialism, a lack of morality and endless partying? And if we're not going to get all deep here with symbolism, 1920's clothes are probably the most fun thing you can wear on a warm summer day. Little flowy, fringy flapper dresses, loads of pearls and costume jewels, and hats, flowers, and headbands galore. When else can you dress like a 5-year old who raided their grandmother's closet and actually look hot while doing it? And for the boys, it's the perfect excuse to mismatch stripes and plaid, whip out those bow ties you haven't put on since your prep school days, and hike up those socks with your shorts. Vests and hats are encouraged, as is seersucker, and there's never such a thing as too much white. But the best part of this party over a real Gatsby one? The alcohol is legal. Take that Jay.

The Great Gatsby. It goes without saying that The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald will forever be hailed as one of the great American classics, as many of you probably learned from your honors English high school class back in the day.  It can also be considered a Hamptons classic, however, thanks to its Long Island setting.  It has the requisite polo tournaments, drinking at inappropriate hours, and grand palatial estates. FROM hamptons.guestofaguest.com: I was lucky enough to enjoy laughs with friends and family on Nantucket. Nantucket Island, besides being its usual fabulous self, was celebrating the annual Figawi race, where sailors go from Hyannis to Nantucket. The race was named after a fictional tribe of nomads. It brings the Nantucket red, pinstripe wearing, Ralph modeling men out of the woodwork...More>>

Note from Editor: Summer is officially here, and, because I have a fear of winter like most kids have a fear of heights, I am pretty much an expert on Summer. I love Summer so much that I have contemplated naming my unborn daughter after it. And, if there's one thing I know about Summer, it's that it's the time to drag out the weekends. Which is exactly what we are going to do... Below, Kerry Cassidy let's us in on all things Nantucket.

Monday was memorial day, one of those holidays I’m not exactly sure what we are celebrating (I just learned cinqo de mayo does not mean tequila day), but I’m all for supporting/remembering our troups (hay hay USA). Memorial day also = everyone has off of work and has fabulous BBQs. Not only did I get to indulge in some sloppy BBQ’d food without spilling it on my white pants (that’s right ladies, Mem day is also the official day to break out those babies), but I was lucky enough to enjoy laughs with friends and family on Nantucket. Nantucket Island, besides its usual fabulosity, was celebrating the annual Figawi race, recognized as the top sailing race in the nation.
