[Kenny Kenny working the Patricia Field's Door, photo via Jezebel]
I missed Patricia Field's party Wednesday night because I was over at Fingerpaint, and was a little bit bummed. After seeing this picture on Jezebel last night, I am even more upset. For some reason, which no one has yet been able to figure out (including myself), I have a strange fascination with the club kids...in particular, with Kenny Kenny. And girl was WORKING that door on Bowery last night! So, in fitting with Kenny Kenny making news this week, I will NOW (probably retardedly so), present you with my rendition of Kenny Kenny for Halloween this year:

When Emmett and James host a party, they don't mess around. Last night's Fingerpaint event in the ginormous space on 22nd street was honestly the most fun I've had at an ART event in this city. Ever. It's the kind of relaxed, unpretentious-yet-extraordinarily-hip environment that I would want my to see my own art displayed in, (were I capable), and one that is rare to find. The guys are amazing in that they managed to get every detail of the evening perfected without making it feel like a scripted party. Even the somewhat annoying heat and smoky air seemed fitting...adding to the ambiance of the scene.

Last night the Chelsea neighborhood played host to Fingerpaint. An exhibition/ silent auction charity event hosted by Black Book, with James Cruickshank, Emmett Shine, Zak Williams, Timo Weiland and Leven Rambin. The event, which consisted of art from the likes of Shepard Fairy, Jean Pagliuso, Kai Regan and Alexandra Richards, and a bunch more, was a steamy affair for an art gallery.
