After last year's James Franco high-as-a-kite fiasco, the Oscars decided to keep things especially PG this year with Billy Crystal,  Justin Bieber, Cirque du Soleil, and the theme of "At The Movies." But live TV spares no one, and even though the ceremony lagged (as per usual) and was severely disappointing in terms of Scorsese's Hugo sweeping the heap, there were some very awesome moments that need to be discussed. Last night, the Casting Society of America presented the Artios Awards for a 25th year of recognizing outstanding achievements in casting. Nora Ephron, Delia Ephron, Bill Pullman, Janeane Garofalo, Patrick Wilson, Stanley Tucci and Mad Men's Vincent Kartheiser attended the event, taking place at the Time Warner Center with a simultaneous presentation in Los Angeles. HBO threw a viewing party Monday night at The Angel and Orensanz Foundation in New York City for everyone's favorite New Zealanders and their show Flight of the Conchords. Guests including cast members Bret McKenzie, Jermaine Clement, Kristen Wiig, writer James Bobin, celebrity chef Bobby Flay, Janie Haddad, funny guy Paul F. Tompkins, David Costabile, Todd Barry Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, and Stephanie March showed up for the viewing party to catch the acoustic duo, their one fan, and their band manager.
